Communicating without words {practice}

I’ve been immersed in non-language communication for weeks.

It makes staying connected with other people a bit challenging. The world is such a word-filled place. We’re such a language-centric species. Switching back and forth is bemusing.

The richest conversations I experience happen between my body and the living world.

No words. Simply a generous sharing of vibration, sensation, empathy, intuition. We flow together for a time, experiencing each other, then we move outward from the exchange nourished, enriched, and replete.

It’s exquisite. It’s also the easiest and the hardest thing I’ve ever done.
